All Stars is over!!!!!
Kj came in 3rd in the district. This was a hard tournament when Keith and I 
realized it was KJ's last year of Little League. He played and practiced so hard for so many years and we are so proud of all of his accomplishments.
We as parents have put in so much time and effort ourselves, we don't know what to do know with all this extra time. Just Kidding that time has been filled with lots of work around our house. Here in West Texas KJ's team has prayed before each game. It is something his team has done for 3 years now. It's nice to see grown men being good examples for the younger generations.

Marlin came in 2nd in district. He played his little heart out during his first year of All-Stars. He had a double hitter with the same team to
win the Championship. He won the first game 13-2 and then turned around and lost the 2nd game 5-3. It was a heart breaker for these 10 years old boys. Every single boy experienced every emotion in a matter of 4 hours. It made me tear up to see them all crying. Marlin cried all the way home (20 min drive). He's over it now, but wow he was upset.

Congrats to KJ and Marlin. I'd take 3rd or 2nd place any day of the week. You guys are the best baseball parents ever! I love the picture of KJ's team praying--we so live in West Texas. You have to see it to believe it.

Do I have to be the first to say it... second place is just the first loosers!!! Just kidding! Congrats guys, that's really awesome. I hope you all had FUN! BTW I love the picture of Marlin in the lower post holding on to the fence with no smile! That so needs to get blown up it's the BEST picture ever! I agree with G. Ashton the prayer picture is really awesome!
